Without Limits Challenge – Week #3 (Charleston)

Week 3 for the #WithoutLimitsChallenge in Charleston has concluded and our challengers are starting to adapt to the new training. Siobhan and Tara are currently training for the Cooper River Bridge Run 10k in April. This week we asked our challengers what their favorite experiences are from the challenge thus far.

Thus far my favorite experience has been attending the weekly practice. I love having a whole workout, from warm up to dynamic stretching, to the workout and hip/work-stretching. Usually when I run on my own skip almost everything but the run! I also like pushing myself in the workouts and having Coach Chris there to give feedback. It’s been so helpful to raise my run game;). There is more to running than just going for a run!

So far, my favorite experience has been the Without Limits Team Practices, and meeting the Without Limits Family. I have to be honest and say that I was very nervous when I went out to my first team training practice. I wasn’t sure what to expect. What was it going to be like? Would I be good enough to fit in?
Everyone has been so welcoming, and the practices are great! Everyone encourages each other and pushes one another, and you always leave with a sense of accomplishment because of the great workout you just pushed through. It really is like a little running family, and I am so honored to get the chance to be a part of it. I look forward to the rest of the practices during the #withoutlimitschallenge
