Tri-Season begins and Peak Running Races are Upon Us

Congratulations to Ilene Schnall in her first ever 10K bringing home 3rd in AG. For someone who says they never podium in running, well, time to start Ilene Schnall pixbelieving Ilene!! Good luck in her first tri of the season next week at the Las Olas Triathlon. Ilene was remarking on the heat in Florida for the race and what a difference from our upper 20 degrees. 10K Rockstar!

IronBob does it again finishing IM New Zealand with a 1:04 PR swim. Go IronBob and You are An Ironman!

AZALEA TRIATHLON

Congratulations to everyone that raced at the Azalea Sprint and tackled the wind and the cold.

Computrainer Coach WISTY took the overall win, behind him in the top 15 was Harrison Brown 9thBud Woodrum  – 12th and Lawrence Landrigan 14th

Ren Rotondo continues his dominance of the 40-44 AG with a 1st place AG win.  LESLY JURADO places top 10 and is gearing up for 2015 Nationals.     In that same AG, Erik Schuette posted the fastest bike split and showed that hard work pays off. Erin Jackson  and David Dupont placed 2nd their AG .  Erin was on her road bike that she hasn’t ridden in 2 years because the Tri Bike is headed to Puerto Rico. Congrats to Doug Wheeler, Shay Hutchings, Mark Dillan, Steve Risely and Chad Towne who had strong showings in the midst of half marathon and marathon training.

The TriWarriors rock out a killer training run with a 10K race in the middle.  Mary Margaret takes on the 10k + 5k Bling Challenge and gets 1st Masters, and 4th OA in the 5K and 3rd overall in the 10K.

Congrats to Tim Nichols who was the overall winner with a 16:45, despite a calf strain he sustained in the first mile.  How about the SHAUDT Brothers Connor and Tyler winning their age groups!  Those boys are rockin!

Strut 10k over the weekend! Congratulations on a great finish.

Janet C had a great 5k race with a second loop to make an unofficial 10k finish.

Our ultra crazy runners Leigh and Sherman continue to run, run and run more

13th overall in the Gator Trail 50K was Sherman Criner, who says – Logging miles with aid stations and people is better than alone.

Leigh take the BLACK MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE and defeats the mountain.  Awesome job Mrs. Adams.

And Finally congrats to all who ran the Cardinal strut, getting ready for QWB and Boston!
