VOTE FOR YOUR SEPTEMBER ATHLETES OF THE MONTH

Virginia Beach Half Marathon
France White completed her annual half marathon at Virginia Beach which was a great prep run for her upcoming NYC marathon!  She ROCKS!  She enjoyed a shot of ice cold lime-rum at about mile 6, although it may not have been the best thing to help finish the remaining 7 miles! Looking forward to seeing you race strong in NY!

Grand Rapids Marathon & Knights Crossing Cross Country, MI
WOL represented in Michigan!!! Michael Enz qualified for Boston after several months working on his strength, and returning to running!  Way to pull through with a 3:09 Michael! And Allie Kassens got a course PR of 19:29 and got the masters course record at Knights Crossing Cross Country Course in Michigan! That’s the way to do it Allie.

Nation’s Capital Triathlon
Congratulations to Coach Wisty for taking 4th PRO overall and bringing home some cash at the NATIONS TRI!  Harrison Brown also raced at Nations and took 20th! Great job representing boys!

Swiss Alps Marathon
Tracy McCullen inspired us all at the Swiss Alps Marathon in Switzerland!  Tracy finished after climbing over 6000ft and most of it in the last 8 miles!  Congrats Tracy and thank you. You are Without Limits!

World Championship 70.3
Coach Sami, Lindsay Hess and Jaime Ash were WORLD 70.3 Finishers. They all went to Chatty excited and left it all on the course. 70.3 Worlds is a tough race, hilly and everyone is out to compete hard! Great job ladies, it is always nice to race with the best!

White Lake Weekend – Half, International, Sprint!
White Lake ended up being perfect weather besides a choppy swim!  Probably the best weather we have seen in White Lake since it started! We had 12 incredible athletes racing hard, representing and bringing home new hardware.

White Lake Half:
Lawrence Landrigan raced a low 5 hour split taking 3rd in AG 35-39. Way to go!

White Lake International:
Cate Piech finished her first International distance race and made it a great one at that! Congrats cate, you are getting stronger and faster everday.
Ray Caffee found his mojo at the “Lake”  and had a great race and good time. Ray took 5th in a strong AG of 35-39. IMNC here we come.
Jennifer Barker claimed 1st in her AG and 2nd OA, she’s getting the hang of racing without a watch and doing very well without it. Way to race strong, your training is paying off!
Coach Tom took first overall and had a solid effort.
Coach Aaron took 2nd overall after a tough week of training.  His goal was to push the swim and bike hard and give a medium effort on the run.  He did just that and it worked perfectly for him.
David McBride took 3rd in AG 40-44!  Nice first race of the year David. Looking forward to seeing you race more.
Marcy Waters raced strong and clocked sub 8:00 miles off the bike taking 3rd in AG 50-54.
Renee Griffen did the Aquabike and took 1st place. Her goal was to beat Coach Tom to the finish line before he finished and she won! Great work Renee.

White Lake Sprint:
Coach Tom did the double and won the sprint the day after the International! You are such a strong coach and athlete. Way to go! Lawrence Landrigan also did the double and won his age group as well. Congrats guys.
We are already seeing the benefits of WOL coaching for Don Marcum who had a great time on race day.
Ty Rabon raced strong and placed 4th in AG 40-44. Impressive job Ty.

MS Bike Ride
Nicole took on the double header for a great cause.  Having fun and pedaling for a reason. We love seeing our athletes race for others while setting new goals.

Ironman Wisconsin
Jack Carroll does it again.  He loves the sport and challenge of a tough course.  With TONS of hills and a windy day, he came in under 15 hours.  Congrats Jack.  You are the definition of hard work, drive and are truly an athlete living without limits!

The Crucible 70 miler

Congrats Maleia and company.  Together Team Beach Hikers raise $2772 for the veterans leadership program.
