“Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up, it knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn’t matter whether you’re the lion or a gazelle-when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.”

Greenville Results at Charlotte Thunder Road, Richmond and More….
Coach Matthew Hammersmith paced Clinton Grant to his first SUB 3:00:00 marathon running 2:58 in Richmond. This is a 7 min PR. Words from Coach Matt – I was fortunate enough to be healthy and consistent today with Clint throughout the Richmond Marathon. Knocking off almost dead even splits for 26 miles is no easy task! He ran great 6 minute PR with a 2:58 considering the fact that i threatened to leave him if he didnt tuck in behind me.
Antionette Prot ran 1:55 at Charlotte Thunder Road
A team of Liesl Cox, James Novak, Cory Crossiant, and Delane Crossiant ran through multiple legs of the Hope Relay in Greenville South Carolina. This fundraising race was a huge success in raising money for autism awareness!
Nick Monroe got a PR even though it was 28 degrees at start! His previous best 2 years ago was 1:57:59. This year – 1:56:31 and going through 10K split at 55:32 was also a personal best.
Las Vegas Rock and Roll
Charles Buckland came out of the woodwork to get a marathon under his belt before Quintiles. Way to get your feet wet. Leslie Donnelly made her debute race for Without Limits. She intended to do the half, but decided, why not and ran the full….What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
