Coach Brian is showing is ability to run long and far in the woods as he conquers another 50K. Showing that flatlanders can run in the hills he finished the Harbison 50K in style.
Congrats to Patrick Horning on a great race at the Little River 10 miler trail race. Had a blast and knocked 7 minutes off last years time. Blazing trails and conquering new adventures. Patrick is digging the trail running!
Charleston Half and Full
Rockstar Ryan Redd proved how tough she is on conquering that course and a PR to boot. Jeff Roseborough posted a solid training run and pretty quick too and Kathleen Lawless crossed the finish line showing her mental toughness.
Shawn Horton Nailed his first marathon at Charleston and learned how LONG the 26.2 mile venture is. On to Wrightsville Beach Full marathon to put the icing on the cake!
Ocean Isle Beach Run for Food
Josh Whitley got a PR of 1:36 during his WB Marathon training and Kyle Shepard ran the 5K with a mid 19:00 to prepare for cooper river bridge run.
SOUTHERN TOUR ULTRA
Congrats to Team sponsor Michelle Fogle for the win, Leanne Johnson for 4th overall and Allison Shofe on her 50K finish! A huge 31 mile congrats to Stephanie Walters and Charles Buckland. Both using the ultra as a training day?? Yep. Charles is headed to Antarctica and Stephanie to IMTexas. Beth Greer one of our out of town athletes had a PR on her 50k and smiling the whole way. Way to go guys and gals. Team sponsor Jason Adams jumped into the 50K last minute and took 4th.
In the 50 Mile relay, WoL Team had runners all in the top 3 teams.
CST Feets of Strength were the champions this year headed by Team Captain Lawrence Landrigan
in 2nd was Henderson Street Hooligans headed by Team Captain Sami Winter
and in 3rd were the defending champions Monkey Butt headed by Team Captain Tay Filer
Erin Hogston had the fastest female split of the day!

Congratulations to Caroline Bloom of Austin, TX posting a 1:53 half marathon at the 3M Austin Half Marathon. A huge 5 min PR!! PR’s Rock and so do you Caroline. Keep working hard! Can’t wait for more to come!
Beethoven 5K and 15K
Who posts a podium finish and 5th OA Female on their very first 5K! Amy Kolk does. Navigating the road of an injury can be tough and she has done a phenomenal job. Way to go Amy and more good things to come in 2017. The Brunswick Forest 5K was just a start.
Way to go Aaron Kolk posting his first race in over a year winning the 5K in sub 17:00 fashion. Watch out, Kolk is on a mission.
Jim and Amy ran the 15K pacing the first bit and closing hard. Ned ran with his wife Suzanne accomplishing his 15K goal.

Nick Monroe – 4th AG 30-34 1:21 – raced great given the weather and training for Quintiles! He’s on his way!
Camille McKeon – 1:35:43 – had some pace work and nailed it! She has been crushing it and training hard for the Quintiles marathon

Cate Piech – 1:39:57 – Had a great 15k and ran a solid run. Full steams ahead for the QWB half..
