WITHOUTLIMITS Blog

August races were hot, hot, Hot!

The purpose of training is to tighten up the slack, toughen the body, and polish the spirit.

Lake Logan Half
Ron Hicks had a very nice 15th place finish racing at Full IM Pace! Now that’s Without Limits.
Coach Brian had a great race and finished 31st overall, great job coach.
Justin Privette really improved on a few things and learned some new lessons. Justin continues to learn about himself and become more knowledgeable with training. Great job!

Lake Logan Olympic
Coach Aaron placed 5th overall and used this race as a great prep for 70.3 Worlds in September. Go get’em coach.

Lake Logan Sprint
Cate Piech had a great return to racing as she took on the hills with a big smile the whole way. Can you say #dowork …!

SWEDEMAN TRIATHLON

Congrats to the Wilmington Folks who did the Swedeman Extreme Triathlon.  Phillip Davis, Erin Green, and Sami Winter all from ILM headed to Sweden to conquer the tri.  Unfortunately 50% of the field was not able to complete the tri due to crazy conditions and terrain that was humbling.  Still a valiant effort. We got a chance to talk to Phillip and Erin about it and they were very happy with the effort and described the race as an enormous challenge.  Cheers to you all.

USAT Nationals
Michelle Bonathan raced with the best and had a blast on the big stage. She PR’ed her 10k off the bike. Stellar performance from Michelle.
