Shoutout from COACH MATTHEW HAMMERSMITH to Shannon Waterhouse-Howell for winning the 50k in 4:37! I love coaching athletes but i thought ultra runners would have been a big challenge. Lucky enough for me Shannon has been very fluid and adaptive along the way. Huge progress! Another success story today was Chuck Spurlin who had his first race back since surgery and blew me away with his 2:03!
